I forget this song exists sometimes. Whenever I hear it I remember years ago when I listened to X&Y on my CD player all the time. Those were good times. X&Y will forever be the “first love” of Coldplay’s albums for me.

I’m listening to B-side Coldplay songs and browsing the “city lights” tag on Tumblr. This is a good night.
The Scientist by Coldplay. Sometimes I pass this over. Other times I listen and it plays through without incident. Rarely, but often enough, it tears through me and leaves me sobbing. I feel like this happens to me a lot with Coldplay.
This music video is also brilliant. Not the best, but worthy of mention for the work put into it.
Talk by Coldplay. The third of their songs I ever heard. It’s still very good. It’s so comfortingly familiar to me now.

Has anyone listened to Paradise by Coldplay? It’s quite a beautful song.
I have homework to get done before tomorrow afternoon. Luckily I’m do my schooling at home so I have the morning to work before my homebound teacher comes. I knocked out my French work this afternoon, which is a ‘yay’ on my part.
Something I discovered, you cannot let the bad things hit you hard. I mean we all have the right to be totally upset and sad but we can’t let things crack our mojo. We have so much to run after and fight for in life. Me? I was in the hosptial for a month and choose to catch up with my schooling and fight. I want that diploma from Kansas’ school of Social Welfare. I want to move to London for a year. So whatever you want to do, tell that one thing that wants to get you down, to get out of the way. You have the right to pursue the life that is joyfully waiting for you. And you live and learn. If you screw up, it’s called learning and/or growing up.
